For those who need Lapua or SK match 22 Ammo: we spoke at length with The Capstone Group (the importer to the US for Lapua and SK ammo) at SHOT SHOW and they tell us they anticipate the shortage in their brands of match grade 22LR continuing until early 2027. We get about 10,000 rounds a quarter as most distributors are allocating dealers to 5000 rounds per brand per order. If you need it and you can find it somewhere, anywhere, we suggest you order some. As a result of this supply limitation I would also anticipate prices to go up on Lapua and SK ammo. For those who absolutely cannot find Lapua or SK we also carry Eley which for some is a good alternative.
Lapua manufactures rimfire cartridges with utmost care and precision. Each cartridge is checked individually and all lots are thoroughly tested on ballistic values, gas pressure and grouping. The products are released for distribution only if all test results are within strict tolerance levels.
